VISIT YOUR LOCAL SEAMStrESS / TAILOR

Most of you take your garments (e.g., suits, jackets, shirts) for modifications at your local alterations shops. Just ask the seamstress / tailor to measure your body by following our measurement instructions. These professionals should be able to do it easily and we recommend tipping them between $10 and $20 for their help.

If you do not have a regular seamstress, visit your local dry cleaners or men's tuxedo shops, they should be able to help you.

Please let your seamstress / tailor know that all measurements are:

"Off-the-Body", which means they should measure the required areas as it is and not add any allowances - we will do that
ROUND UP to the nearest quarter inch (or one centimeter)

* - Make sure the tape measure - front and back - is level (parallel) to the ground.

1.	NECK Measure around the lower part of your neck (below the adam's apple), placing one finger between tape measure and neck.

2.	CHEST Breathe in and out and RELAX! Standup straight and measure around the fullest part of the chest.

3.	STOMACH Breathe in and out and RELAX! Measure around the fullest part of the stomach.

4.	HIPS Measure around the fullest part of the hips.

5.	SHOULDER RELAX the shoulders! Measure across the top (1 to 2* below the neck base) of the shoulder from one edge to the other. (Edge is where the shoulder meets the arm).

6.	SLEEVE With your arm straight at your side, measure from the shoulder end point and bring the tape to the thumb knuckle.

7.	BICEPS Relax the arms and measure around the fullest part of the bicep. (Do not contract the muscles.)

8.	WRIST Measure around the fullest part of the wrist.

9.	LENGTH Measure from center of neck base (bump), down to the bottom of buttocks (make sure it covers the "derrière" - butt).

We recommend that you ask your friend or acquaintance to take your measurements by following the instructions below - it is easy and quick. Also, remember that the first shirt will always be a test shirt and if you are not happy with your test shirt, we will alter it until we get it right or you can opt for a full refund.

Please let your seamstress / tailor know that all measurements are:
