Dine in Morningside Heights @ Bistro 1080
Craig Skiptunis, an AW client since January 2010, owns and manages Bistro 1018 in the charming neighborhood of Bloomingdale near Morningside Heights.
"We're more of a neighborhood restaurant.... with our fireplace and patina'd ambiance,
we've created a casual atmosphere that where people like to come to socialize or have
business meetings over great food. Our customer's tastes helps inform our menu, and they
enjoy bistro style food that makes creative use of fresh local ingredients."

"American Classics" at Clinton Street Baking Company
Neil Kleinberg, an AW client since 2013, and DeDe Lahman opened Clinton Street Baking Company in April 2001. Their only mission at that time was to make the best baked goods in the city, hand-mixed in small batches. But soon the locals stumbled in, and murmurs of Neil's simple yet delicious omelets, sandwiches and soups moved people to cluster - then crowd - the block. New York Magazine voted Neil's blueberry pancakes best in the city (twice!). I would definitely second that opinion.
I am a huge fan of the soft shell crab sandwich and fried chicken. I suggest going for dinner since you will be waiting a long time if you go during breakfast time, weekday or weekend. Clinton Street also caters.

You can also purchase the Clinton Street Cookbook from Amazon. It was voted NY Times Best of 2010 Cookbook.
